ABOUT ME

Hello I am Stella and I love to eat! I wasn't even trying to sound like I am at an AE meeting. And in case you don't know it, AE means Anonymous Eaters.

Oh yeah. It's me on the picture above.

I will give you a few, non-specific facts about myself.

1. I love to eat and I love to cook. But I want to stay slim and to look the best that I can.

2. I want to eat doughnuts, pancakes, cheesecakes, pizza, pasta, cheese-baked-everything, everyday, all day long. I want it so much. But I want to have abs and I don't want to have cellulite. Speaking of abs - I have never seen mine. Never in my life. I've never been fat, but even when I was a child and had the body of a mosquito I didn't have my abs showing. Weird stuff. Oh yeah, and guess about cellulite? Here's a clue - I have it.

3. I want to drink coffee, hot chocolates, creamy tasty cocktails like pina colada. But I want to be healthy and have a strong immune system. I am very thankful for my health - I don't get sick too often, but I am definitely not in the best shape I could be.

Even a child knows these wishes are incompatible. The rule is - less cheesecakes, more vegetables and fruits, if you don't want cellulite. I am obsessed with nutrition, hold a masters degree in biochemistry, I know what you should eat and what you should not eat and I still can not believe this rule is for real. So I ignore it and all I know about health and nutrition as much as I can. Daily.

What I know applies well though. Oh how I wish it didn't. I've gained 4 kilograms during the last year, which is about 10 pounds because of stress, lack of time, eating whichever cupcake crosses my way....excuses, excuses. Doesn't seem too much for a whole year, but considering that I am not growing (I mean at 29 this isn't really an option, is it?) and I had ideal weight before it is too much. What if next year, I gain 4 kilograms more? Hello panic attack!!!

So to make myself practice what I preach I created THE SIX BASICS - here I want to share all kinds of healthy recipes and facts on foods and on nutrition, some personal stories maybe too. This will help me get back on track, stay motivated and hopefully help you achieve your fitness goals too.

  1. Dear Stela, I want to make a diet, because I have an alien in my backyard. And also, I want to look nice and beautiful and stay healthy as long as I can. Would you make me a monkey diet? Please, dont want to get morbidly obese like the R. Cakes
